The food tasted good, and I liked that I could mix and match veggies and starches etc. Pork chop was delicious and the breakfast eggs were surprisingly good! BUT. It doesn’t travel well. New York to Virginia was a gamble to say the least. And we lost that bet. The containers the food come in don’t seem to hold up well enough in the dry ice. Cracks and even holes in the trays caused food to fall through. So, 3 stars for the food and service itself, but minus 2 for offering long distance delivery before it’s been perfected. If you live in the NY metro area, definitely use Top Chefs! I wish I could.
My first week of trying the paleo diet and so far I have not had one bad meal nor one meal that taste processed in the least bit. I am over the top happy I have found this place as a single male who does not cook. My mother would be proud I am eating well. I am an advocate for this company just after 4 days I have already placed another order and will continue to eat this food. I am shocked you can get such good quality food delivered to your door. Breakfast, lunch and dinner no complaints. I thank you guys for existing and will continue to order weekly. PS. I already have 2 of my male friends signing up to try it after smelling my breakfast at the office. Thanks again.
We have been receiving bi-weekly deliveries since December and have never been disappointed. Each meal is made, packaged and delivered carefully, there are so many delicious options that fit into many dietary restrictions, the staff is responsive and the meals rival any restaurant! We began shipments while I was preparing for back surgery and could not be happier with the choices, ease of the ordering process and how delicious each meal is!
Unbelievable customer service. The meals are absolutely delicious, convenient, and healthy as well. My wife and I find we are now eating less, as the portion sizes are perfect, and the combination of carbs/protein with the meals helps us feel full longer. We are both actually losing weight and we were not trying. We absolutely love the convenience and quality of Top Chef meals, and we would highly recommended anyone.
Due to a health issue my siblings and I decided to use your service to send meals to my parents as a Christmas gift. Our mother was scheduled for back surgery and was not able to cook the way she used to and we aren't able to be there to help her daily. We found your service and sent the first delivery the week of christmas and have been sending meals every 2 weeks ever since. My mother raves about your meals and I had the ability to try one while visiting her and agree completely, they rival a restaurant and surpass all other prepared meals I have tried in both quality of food and taste. We will be continuing the orders for the remainder of the year while she recovers. The staff is attentive and responsive, the meals are packaged well, the value cannot be beat and the food is above and beyond what we all expected. Perfect for anyone with dietary restrictions, trying to follow a meal plan (paleo options available), busy families with time constraints and those on a budget (you can have a healthy meal for the cost of McDonalds!).
